Historic Films of Hawthorne to be shown at the Library

Hello Hawthorne Historical Society Members and Friends,

This is just a reminder that the Hawthorne Historical Society will be meeting tomorrow, Monday June 14th at 7pm at the Louis Bay 2nd Library. The main focus of the meeting will be the public viewing of historic films of Hawthorne, which have been remastered and transferred to a DVD format.

The video presentation is open to the public free of charge. The facility is barrier-free. The movies, which are from the mid-20th Century, depict various events in Hawthorne, as well as scenes of the community.

This project was partially funded by the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council at Passaic County Community College, through a general operating support grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of the Department of State.

Hope to see you there!
